When Dr. Gonzalez briefly did discuss the surgery, he stated that it would be much like having a root canal done. That I could handle.
The reality was that the aftermath of the surgery he performed was probably the most painful thing I had ever experienced (that would be compared to other surgeries, root canals, motorcycle crashes, wrestling, etc.).
The pain I experienced with my second carpal tunnel surgery was 10% of the one done by Dr. Gonzalez.
Look at the scarring difference between the surgeries, and you decide which doctor, scar, and associated pain you would rather have. |
